About the role 

Located in Henderson, the Digital developer will have responsibility for developing and deploying digital technology solutions as directed by the Digital Solution Architect. These solutions will have the overarching goal of adding value to NSM’s successful delivery of digitally enabled asset management. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide supporting inputs to digital technology roadmaps for NSM regarding external partner, and client systems;
  • Develop solutions that are robust, fit-for-purpose, cost effective, and supported by clear roadmaps into the future as far as is possible.
  • Develop design detail for technical solutions as useful and relevant to specific delivery outcomes.
  • Maintain clear and supportive communications with impacted staff, clients, and other stake holders as relevant to supporting and enabling digital solutions;
  • Provide inputs to the preparation of digital technology business cases, design options, and technical white papers for consideration of options facilitating asset optimisation solutions;


About you

To be the successful candidate for this position you will ideally have:

  • Recent and relevant working experience developing digital solutions;
  • Track record of working within diverse teams to generate solutions;
  • Experience within the Government and/or Defence sector with a proven record of successful technology development;
  • Proven knowledge, and capability within the Microsoft development environment as it relates to SharePoint, MS Dynamics, and the broader Office cloud-based, and Azure environments;
  • Front-end development skills – HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery (or equivalent framework)
  • MS Power Platform (MS Flow, Power BI, Power Apps) experience.
  • Experience in C#, .NET Framework and SharePoint framework (SPFx)
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills; and
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands
