Learn to operate Maritime Unmanned Aircraft Systems (MUAS) as a Remote Pilot in the Navy, providing tactical information to command.

Working within a tightknit team, you’ll operate both the ScanEagle fixed-wing remotely piloted aircraft and the Schiebel S100 Camcopter. These sophisticated drones can undertake any number of missions, launching from Navy ships at sea or the Navy Air Station in Nowra, NSW.

As an officer, you’ll be given opportunities to experience a variety of employment and training environments throughout your Navy career. These are designed to prepare you for the role of higher management as a senior officer in the Navy.

Salary:

Be paid to train and learn the skills required to become a Remote Pilot Warfare Officer in Navy. Upon completion of your initial military and initial employment training, you’ll enjoy a competitive starting salary package of up to: $75,467 including service and uniform allowances. Maritime Allowance also available.

In addition to your salary, you will receive generous superannuation, housing subsidies and free medical and dental care.
