Job Description:
CoreLogic powers the largest asset class in Australia, property. Our data and technology help people find, buy and protect the properties they love. We are looking for an experienced technical product owner to join our omnichannel team who are simplifying and digitising our end-to-end customer journeys.

The team is looking for someone who’s excited about working in a tightly knit supportive team, and who can invent new ways for our customers to interact with us, specifically in the digital channel. Someone who’s results-driven, customer-focused, and relentless in the pursuit of great solutions. Someone who’s at home in a technical environment, and comfortable directing the build of REST APIs with engineers, setting strategy with senior leadership, and everything in between.

You will work with engineering teams, QAs and product and be responsible for scoping solutions to problems that meet the needs of our developer customers and users. You will own your team’s backlog and lead key work streams such as stakeholder and customer engagement, business requirements management, development execution, user testing, and launch. You know how to prioritise between architecting solutions that scale and meeting short term needs.


Managing the lifecycle of backend API technology products and features (customer experience, vision, strategy).
Owning technical priorities and business strategy through data-driven contributions, working directly with platform leaders, engineers and product leaders.
Accountability for product backlog, including clarity of items, prioritisation, visibility and appropriate understanding of items by the development team.
Identifying new opportunities that align with product and strategic growth of the company.
Developing product plans with clear measurable success criteria, using mechanisms and metrics (KPIs, funnels, conversion, awareness).
Successful applicants will have experience defining products, leading cross-functional teams, and communicating to a large number of stakeholders. You’ll also need to be able to communicate clearly and effectively to all levels of the company, both in writing and in meetings.

Job Qualification:

You have experience in building, launching and managing exceptional products, and can raise the bar on customer-focused thinking.
You can dive into technical details and inspire engineers to deliver on a product vision and strategy.
You understand the business drivers, systems and technologies behind your product, their limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions and reasons for architectural decisions.
You are a self-starter who is able to work in an environment of high complexity and ambiguity, breaking down the big picture into actionable goals.
You think long-term and can balance diverse and conflicting customer needs and converge on outcomes that earn customer loyalty.
You are able to communicate your ideas and vision through well-researched working-backwards documents like press releases and FAQs.
You have persistence and grit, never hesitate to challenge the status quo with data and metrics.

Experience and Education

8+ years combined technology and product management experience.
8+ years of experience translating customer needs into engineering requirements and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
5+ years of experience building and leading diverse product teams.
Formal qualifications in Information Technology or a related discipline.
MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline is highly desirable.
