Canberra based, Uncapped training and development, Subsidised parking.ABOUT THIS ROLE We are currently looking for a NV1 Explosive Ordnance Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. This varied role is essential to the success of the business. A strong Defence background is essential as well as a positive attitude and the flexibility to take on tasks that may be outside of your job description. This role will a strong background in military weapons and explosive ordnance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Author and update engineering plans
  • Author and update capability definition documents
  • Liaise with management, staff, customers, contractors and other organisations.
  • Develop integration documentation
  • Provide input into procurement activities
  • Provide expert engineering advice
  • Ensure transfer of knowledge to the rest of the team
  • Demonstrated experience with Explosive Ordnance
  • Relevant qualifications (Bachelors degree)
  • Experience in a Defence environment
  • High level attention to detail
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Hold or have the ability to gain and maintain and NV1 security clearance
