About the role:
WorkPac are currently seeking a Rehabilitations Delegate for our client on a 12 month contract role based within the CBDto assist with the coordination of rehabilitation services to assist with return to work.

  • Rehabilitation provided by our client is broader than access to primary and allied health services, as it incorporates medical management, psychosocial and vocational rehabilitation.

  • Each year our client's rehabilitation program assists former Defence Force members start a new civilian life by assisting their recovery from service-related injuries or illnesses.

  • Many veterans go on to establish new careers, but some will never recover sufficiently to re-enter the workforce. As a result, our clients rehabilitation program enables the development and measurement of rehabilitation outcomes, which are not based solely on a successful return to work.

  • Our client has a wholeofperson approach to rehabilitation which includes medical management as an adjunct to treatment, vocational and psychosocial goals and support.

Core Duties

  • Experience in the interpretation and application of legislation as well as working within policy and operational guidelines as well as the ability to adapt with any changes;

  • Provide advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders;

  • Monitor and manage a high volume caseload as well as provide support to other staff. Time management and case management skills will be a necessity;

  • Contribute to the development of a cohesive and supportive team environment. Show high levels resilience and be adaptable through periods of change.

  • Previous experience in return to work management is essential.

In addition to the duties outlined above, Delegates are required to achieve accreditation standards within a reasonable time frame.
