The Defence Force School of Policing (DFSP) is a sub-unit of the Defence Command Support Training Centre (DCSTC) and is located at Lamia Barracks within Holsworthy Barracks, approximately 40kms from Sydney CBD.
The Defence Force School of Policing aims to be Australia’s centre of excellence for the delivery of contemporary law enforcement and specialist training with our graduates equipped with the technical and military skills to survive and contribute to mission success on combined, joint, and interagency operations.
The Defence Force School of Policing is made up of the Unit Headquarters, the Police Training Wing (PTW), the Defence Force Correctional Establishment (DFCE) and the Training Systems Support Cell (TSSC).
This position is the Manager of The Training Systems Support Cell (TSSC), which undertakes quality assurance of the training conducted by the school through internal and external audits, reviewing all courses. The role leads a specialised team of training professionals who create and implement training solutions for the Military Police training environment.
The incumbent will provide DFSP Training policy guidance and support whilst monitoring and evaluating compliance with all training instructions and directives, along with other training modernisation activities such as Blended Learning and course evaluations.
You will be required to manage and coordinate analysis, design and evaluation activities for a wide range of unique, military police training for Defence workplaces across Australia.
